a design agency focused on innovation through creativity and experimentation. We believe that with every project their is an opportunity to grow, in terms of both design and development. Daily we strive to break down the barriers of technology and create what is truly unique.
We are driven by our passion to create the next level of web experiences for our clients. Whether we are working on a new exlcusive technology for a client, reinventing a brand solution, or developing a web presence, our guiding principle remains the same. We know that only through creative innovation and dedication will the best sites be born.
The web is an ever changing entity, and we are changing with it. We embrace the emerging technologies, and pride ourselves on our ability to adapt and evolve with the changing trends.
The bottom line: Synapse Design Studio develops websites that are interactive, standards compliant, cutting edge, and irresistibly engaging.

Flowtools is an internal project we have been working on for over seven months. Flowtools itself is a lightweight, object oriented, and powerful AJAX/Javascript framework. We began by developing the core javascript code, and went from there. Bulding an entire architecture that would be innovative and scalable took some time, not to mention creating a brand solution, website, and marketing strategy. Synapse CEO Alexander Jones hand-coded the entire first three builds of Flowtools, and was responsible for most of what you see in the framework today.
The Flowtools project will be launching near the end of summer 2008.
Elixir is the name of one of our newest technologies, which is currently still undergoing testing in our labs. We are creating a branding solution, microsite, and print materials for the Elixir Project. The logotype is pictured above. The idea behind project Elixir was to create an easy, scalable, implementation of a Flash Content Management System, using AJAX and Actionscript. We will be giving more details on Elixir as it comes together.
There is no current launch date for Elixir, so stay tuned for updates.
